Piano Classes

For students age 7-107

The studio uses several different methods for teaching. Students may enroll for private 30-minute lessons or for partner lessons, which are 45 minutes. Lessons are offered once a week. Lessons may be scheduled throughout the morning, afternoon or early evening hours, Monday through Thursday. Performance classes are offered several times a year at no additional charge. A recital is given in the spring and other recitals may be given at the teacher’s discretion. Students may choose to perform in any of the Omaha Music Teachers events when they are prepared to do so. There is usually an additional fee for these events. For the best learning experience, students are required to have an 88-key acoustic or digital piano with pedal.

Piano Lessons
The semester fee is $270 plus the cost of music. Students enrolling for only one semester will pay $67.50 each month for four months. When enrolling for the full 30-week year, tuition may be paid in nine monthly payments of $60 each. Tuition is due at the first lesson of the month, regardless of the number of lessons given.

Blast Off with Piano

7 - 10 years
An introductory course to learn the geography of the piano, note values and reading simple music at the keyboard. A keyboard or piano is helpful but not mandatory for this five lesson learning experience. Class size is 2-6 students.
